I agree that Israel has to retaliate when missiles are fired out of Gaza. But I think what Capo might be talking about is the settlers, not the IDF, randomly attacking Arab people in the West Bank. |

So what's your point? If they were found to have been entrapped, it doesn't make them any less guilty in my book. You missed your calling; you should be an ACLU defense attorney.

The point is entrapment is repugnant to the conscience, or at least to those who have one.
There was a time when entrapment was a defense to a charged crime. The wedge was introduced with drugs, and its practice just keeps expanding. I can't really say I find it surprising that you support this march towards a police state. Suffice it to say that I don't.
At least the FBI is getting smarter and only providing dummy explosives, unlike the 1993 WTC bombing in which they recruited the blind sheik and his minions and provided live ordnance. We all know how well that worked out.
And thanks, I'd have been a damn good ACLU attorney. |
