| Yeah, I think he's really come around. Finally going for the source of the problem. I hope this means he's not going to blindly favor democrats over republicans as if there were a huge difference between the two. Don't forget when he got down on his knees and begged Nader not to run. A lot of people became disillusioned with his moderate stance on solutions. |

i would have to agree with a lot of these criticisms of moore, some inaccuracies, selectivity, and in general going for more of an infotainment spin on important issues.
where i have problems with some of (the royal) you, is that while the criticisms are well-placed and deserved you are failing to respect the audience he is shooting for.
of course he is a bit of a hypocrite, but in this case what other system is he living in that he could not be a hypocrite? it's a movie - movies cost money to make and deserve to earn money when people go watch it!
second, as above, think of his audience. maybe the people on this board have some advanced education, where 'advanced' in the world over means maybe Grade 11, but in there are so many "less than informed" people in the US. his movies are not for the choir - his movies are generally for people who may have never thought about the content he is showing. and generally those educated audiences WILL find more to rip than most.
but the first step to any issue is to at least begin talking about it, bringing it up in the sphere of discussion. |

| Why can't MM be honest? Why can't he put together an honest documentary about such an important topic, instead of pushing an agenda? He's no different from all the other political whores, I don't see why I should respect him or "his audience." |

| I don't care about him either way. Haven't seen any of his films in years and years. I'm eager to see his latest. |

Probably because he has an agenda he wants to push, as well as the means to do it? |

If he actually brings up the Federal Reserve, the global banking establishment, and the whole corrupt monetary system of the US dating back to before 1913, then I'll take him seriously. I'm guessing he won't do it, and it'll probably just be more superficial critique of "capitalism" (without distinguishing between corporatism and the real thing) and pointing fingers at GM et al. Just enough to please the pretentious liberal crowd and get a standing O at Cannes, but not enough to shed any real light on the Fed for the public...
Anyway, we'll see. |

VistitorQ, I nearly agree with you but you just 'visitord' yourself.
Some people believe the political/economic system works the way it's described. |

Sorry, I don't really understand...
Who believes what kind of political/economic system works in what way? (could you clarify your meaning?) |
