If I hear any ringtone my opinion of a person goes down because it's basically an attention *beep* tactic.

If I recall, you've been teaching in Seoul (핸드폰-land) for about the last 3000 years or so, right? You must sure have a low opinion of a helluva lotta people..

Why not, kill, gut, skin, stuff, roast with a nice plum sauce, and then, eat the cat?

That'll show him.

Don't bring it to an extreme -- a ringtone lowers my opinion, but it's hardly something that'll bring it all the way down.

A lot of people seem to not like ringtones to much. I don't either and I have therefore kept my phone on vibration mode from the first time I got one back in high school. (Once a person put on the sound on my phone and I never picked it up when it rang because I couldn't understand how it could be my phone since it made sound)

The problem is that I don't think the Korean phones vibrate as much as my Sony Ericsson back home. If I walk while someone is calling I simply don't notice that I get a call. Therefore I miss about 30-40% of my calls. Anyone else have this problem? And any suggestions how to improve the situation? I usually keep my phone in the front pocket of my jeans, but when I am waiting I call I usually just carry the phone in my hand since that will make me notice the call.
