If you built a house in Korea, would you have a shelter?

There is no point in a nuclear fallout shelter.

I'd prefer to live my last moments pillaging and causing general mayhem than in a concrete bunker like a big girl's blouse having a big cry.

My friend who's in the army here says that the Norks could only hit Uijeongbu in the event of any succesful movement into the South, and this attack can only happen in the winter b/c the fields are not navigable unless frozen. The USFK views a destruction of Seoul as a failure in their war games, so it's unlikely that this will just come out of nowhere.

I'd be more worried about a biological/chemical attack my own self.

Good thing I got out of Uijeongbu then, little [Mod Edit]hole of a town

You all are playing too much Fallout. Unless that shelter is real deep, it's most likely become a horrid little coffin of rubble that you are pinned underneath. At least getting blowed up is quick.

But that won't happen. The Norks will hit just about anywhere but South Korea if they are gonna go nuclear (they want/need the farmland back) and if they try a conventional blitz, it would be easy enough to evacuate to Japan and then back to where ever. Then again, I live in Busan, so I'll see all you Seoul suckers in Valhalla.
