Hey OP, I am waiting for my visa number too, but from an immigration office in Seoul. It�s been 2 weeks since my application was submitted to immigration.

Where did you read it could take longer in November?

Also, are the big city immigration offices known for being slow to process applications? (Seoul, Busan)

I was supposed to start on the 28th but I haven't gotten a number yet. I didn't buy a plane ticket 'cause I don't have a visa. Are they expecting me to do a run? The recruiter said he should know today or tomorrow and that was 3days ago. It's holiday time now so there's no way to get it done on time now...

I guess I'll email him and ask if they can change the start date

Hey I sent an email on the 24th at 1150 asking if we could change my start date. At 112am on the 25th my confirmation number appeared

but to answer your question my docs got to him on the 11th so he may have turned them in on the 14th. He was in bucheon.

Thanks for the info, I am still waiting on mine, it�s been three weeks. I was patient at first, but now I am starting to worry.
