Anyone know what's up with Eastar Jet?
Wikipedia lists international destinations. Additionally, a December Korea Times article spoke as if some of the international destinations had already begun. However - on the website, I can't find any international flights whatsoever.
Can anyone else? |

Recently (I think I'm very late on this) found out Air Asia has started flying from Incheon to Kuala Lumpur. Added to list.
Same question as always - anyone have any other discount carriers, destinations, or corrections to the list? |

Eastar has flown Incheon-Phuket on a chartered basis for a few years, but I think you cannot just buy a ticket, you have to tag along with a package. The airline will begin service to Kochi, Japan, at the end of the year and also began service to Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia, in July.
Just like Zest Airways of the Philippines, Eastar seems to be operating most of its international flights on a chartered basis. |

Orient Thai is supposed to start Bangkok-Incheon service late this month.

Orient Thai are/were one of the most dangerous airlines you can be on and they have even been suspended from flying by the Thai authorities in the past. (granted approval in Feb 09 again though) I presume things have improved |

EastarJet also have Charter flights to Siem Reap, Cambodia from Cheongju. It's hard to track them down - go to the Korean homepage, and look at the flash window on the left (where the picture of the weightlifter keeps popping up). One of the images lists international charter destinations - click it, and you'll get taken to the schedule page, with a list of travel agents to book through. I got my co-teacher to call them, though, and one required a package deal and the other two had no availability (admittedly over Solleal, so partially understandable).
Also - Jeju Air have very cheap flights to Hong Kong and there's an ad on their site for forthcoming services to the Philippines; and if you go to AirAsia's site and select Incheon as a deparure point, you'll find a couple of destinations in Indonesia listed (Jakarta and Denpasar/Bali, I think) I assume these routes will start up imminently... |

AirAsia's flights from Incheon to Jakarta and Denpasar have to stop in KL first, so the only direct flight available is Incheon-KL. |

| Jin Air flies direct to Pattaya, Thailand, from Incheon twice a week and also goes to a few not-so-known Japanese cities like Saga and Miyazaki. |
