In all seriousness, though, it is easy for men and women to become disillusioned with the opposing sex. Afterall, we place a much more emotional and physical interest into them. Therefore, the personalities of our significant others become monstrous, disproportionate to that of our friends or acquaintances, and so is their effect upon us. It is easy to have your heart broken and to project that upon all other members of that gender.

Reason aside, I think women are scum. Present company excluded, of course. Maybe.

I had a weird situation 5 years ago. I was dating this guy for a couple of years who I really liked, told him I loved him and whatnot, and was very comfortable in our relationship. However, something was becoming lost, the so-called "spark" and I really started to lose interest. I actually ended up teaching in France, met my current fiance (who is from my hometown!!!) and we have been together for the past 4 years. However, leaving my ex was the best move I ever made. I am extremely happy right now with my sweetheart and can't wait to be his wife!

I think a level of comfort is important in a relationship, but I think too much of it can be a turn off in some ways. I didn't need to see him make a bowel movement (he would leave the door open), and he wasn't showering as much, he would seriously scratch his bunghole all the time...I don't know...he was becoming a dirtbag. There were other things I was unhappy with, but I didn't realize I had all these problems with him until we broke up. I also didn't want to make it work, which I feel bad about because I think he may have put in the effort to change some things if I asked him to (which I didn't want to ).

I completely left my ex for my current, and it was terrible to go through, to see my ex in pain and heartbroken, and I felt like crap too. But literally, it was just something that awoke in me one day that decided I wasn't attracted to my ex and I sort of saw him as the "weaker sex" in our relationship; I know that's strange but I can't explain it. I went to Korea with the guy I left him for and my ex dated a few girls, stayed with one, and moved to another state with her and he is doing well.

I said maybe! I cannot be too certain, after all, 'cause it's a bit like life, you never know what you're gonna get. Rolling Eyes

I hated that movie. My name's a random song lyric. 'Sides, if you're not getting your heart broken you're doing something wrong.
