It could be the T.V stations buying all the porn. Its porn madness after 12am, mostly foreign porn. I would assume they watch foreign porn because their own porn is nothing more than visual lullaby.

I doubt Koreans are buying porn from sex shops and the back of minivans. I bet you most of the porn is bought on VOD services, downloaded, or ordered on the internet.

Considering the ease of access, its not surprising for the Porn numbers to be that high. Throw in the fact that its hard for 18-25 year olds to get laid when they live with Mom and Dad, you get high porn numbers.

There's one line of work where the women get paid more then the men;
100,000 to 250,000 annually vs 40,000 annually.

The internet has ruined the magic of porn. When I was a youngster, we were sometimes lucky enough to find a moldy old copy of Big Ones, discarded in a hedgerow or in the woods by my old school. We knew how to appreciate the value of smut in those days. Kids these days just can't understand how special it was back then.

There's porn on Korean TV? What channels? The only crap I see are those "comedy" porn type shows. Where you barely see a nipple.

I was a dealer when I was in high school. I would buy a whole stack of mags at a sleazy gas station and sell them at school for a profit. In the early 90s, Club International was the most popular. It doesn't seem like much looking back on it, but at that age, it seemed like some bigtime money. Porn, and tobacco farming, allowed me to go to college without taking a loan.

yeah the mystery of porn has gone finding a mag was gold or working up the courage to by a magazine when you were under 18 was nerve racking. now theres all kinds of shit literally out there on the net!

saw a documentary on tv (sbs australia) recently about western porn in the 3rd world and the effects it has on people. eg: not using condoms etc wanting to try freaky shit that previously many never even thought about. generally westerners know it's mostly fantasy or youd have to be either lucky, super rich/famous or just plain willing to pay ho's to do most of that porn stuff on a regular basis. but in the 3rd world they dont quite get that fact.

thiers soft porn on korean cable tv playboy channel type of stuff all i saw when i was there the few time i whatch cable as i didnt have cable.

I remember the excitement when I was young, when we found a ton of porn mags in a old box out in the woods, we'd retreat to out secret base and try to figure out just what the hell we were looking at and why it was awesome.

The internet has removed all the mystery of porn, but man it sure is nice to have the convenience. I also find it funny that South Korea watches more porn per capita than almost any other country in the world, even Japan.
