Things arent as they seem
Erin Pizzey, the founder of an early women's shelter in Chiswick, London, has expressed her dismay at how domestic abuse has become a gender-political football, and expressed an unpopular view in her book Prone to Violence that roughly two-thirds of women in the refuge system had a predisposition to seek abusive relationships, and to inflict violence. Pizzey also expressed the view that domestic violence can occur against any vulnerable intimates, regardless of their gender.
Beating your partner makes you exciting, this turns chicks on |

Not a troll just have an issue
I wanted to date girl named betsy in my apartment bldg
I asked 3 times on simple dates like coffee dinner at the local cafe and gdead concert
The response No No No and no means no
Bye betsy
betsy s car broke down
betsy could not get to work
besty lost her job
besty could not make rent
i saw betsy on the prostitute corner at 2 Am the day before rent day
she looked at me and said no again but in a different way
I guess she didnt want to give me head for fifty dollars
I dont think I was exciting enough for betsy, I had a job, a degree no tattoos, no dUIs and I wore glasses
I bet it was pretty exciting unzipping pants that night in a mercedes perhaps or even a porshe if she got real lucky
grateful dead music isnt very exciting I suppose |

well, nothing new really...
billy the kid, Buffalo Bill, Butch Cassidy, Jesse James and who knows how many other famous people from the last century!
all had movies written about them and as kids we play cowboys and indians and usually someone in the group is the kid.. |
I don't think Buffalo Bill was bad. Billy the Kid probably was no worse than his adversaries |

| All the women I've known who were in abusive relationships had substance abuse problems. It's the main reason they stay. I suppose a lot of others just get used to their life and stay out of some sense of inertia. |

| I can understand a significant minority of women being attracted to dangerous men, criminals and gangsters, but to be attracted to a man who not only murdered someone, but specifically murdered a woman and raped her indicates something quite unique. There is a special fantasy world that is an integral part of Japanese culture: rape, bondage, sexual fetishes, torture and humiliation are key features and quite common in the nations manga and other media. These women may fantasize about this murderer, and some would act on this fantasy, but I think it's also safe to say that for many of these women, fantasy is all they would want it to be. |

But very few men become serial killers (one in 20 million??).
On the other hand, thousands of women throw their panties at rapists and serial killers.Or seek out abusive relationships and stay in them. Its not only a japanese phenomena. Ted Bundy had to have extra mail vans laid on to deliver his sacklooads of gushing love letters from adoring women. |

Well, if being a moron were a criminal offense, you'd probably see a lot fewer of them.
What about the guys who love serial killers (and there are so many). What is it about women idiots that ticks you off more than men idiots? |

| As has been mentioned this is not a Japanese fetish. It's common world wide. I can particularly remember the female fans following Paul Bernardo's trial. This is about women with low self-esteem and the mind-set like the Octomom. Fame is a right. So they seek out guys who they feel would never reject them, and they choose serial killers because of the notoriety they bring. The news shows love putting those half-wits on tv as they try to justify their love. The guy is just a vehicle. Some people confuse exposure with fame. They probably don't realise that they are mocked because outside of writing love letters and collecting welfare, they are too busy trying to keep up with all the reality tv programming that's out there. |

There are actually some men who do this too. Susan Atkins (one of the Manson girls) got married and I also have a friend whose boyfriend fell in love with a woman on death row who had killed her children.
I can kind of understanding feeling an attraction for someone like that especially if you're someone who feels isolated and misunderstood. But if you get to the point where you joining a fanclub it's pretty pathetic. |
