if you do pick it apart make sure you take lots of pictures of the inside. It's not exactly a mine field but the power and data cables can often fit in one way up or the other. Except one way won't work.

There's loads of info on the internet if you get stuck, I've just had a few nasty turns when you turn the power on and all you get back is
"No Primary IDE drive"
Shocked Shocked Confused

Good idea about the picture taking if I did take it apart. That would be the biggest challenge by far.

Ultimately I'm still thinking of selling it.

Exhile if you are interested.. or anyone. Desktop computer, and throw in the printer and scanner with it as well.

Tiger...

Sell, sell, sell.

Pocket the cash, and buy another used computer overseas.

I bought a used computer at the weekend, 285,000 including the monitor, DVD/CD-RW drive, win2K (english). It's only a P3 with a small hard drive, but I'm not going to fly a plane with it.

Printer (HP Deskjet 3820)

Scanner (Epson Perfection 1640SU)

Computer:

Intel Celeron wtih 833MHZ.. and Windows ME.

Hard Drive 18.6 GB

Chip 83MHz

Total Memory 255MB

I'm gonna guess 17" monitor?

Original software.. just powerpoint, photoshop, excel and wordprocessing are downloaded. Another guy rebuilt and sold it to me. So maybe nothing really original.
