I find the argument for trickle up economics more convincing than the trickle down theory.

Segregation deprived Black students of nothing, there was no injustice. I understand the situation could be made to look bad but in my opinion, the effect amounted to nothing appreciable.

Well, its pretty commonly accepted that segregated black schools were in every way inferior to their white equivalents. But, if we can't agree on this, I doubt we'll agree on much concerning the subject.

Again, things looked bad but they really were not. If you want to argue segregation is demeaning then youd have an argument but segregation didnt seem to have an effect on school perfomance. Actually you cant even argue that as we routinely had sex segregation (boys girls academies) in schools and even now educators make African American academies by choice.

I'm not arguing that racial segregation necessarily leads to inferior schools for blacks. I'm arguing that the intentional and total racial segregation under the Jim Crow regime in the Southern United States meant direct and immediate inferior educational opportunities for blacks.

Inferior economic opportunites as well. Jim Crow was an evil system based on fear and hatred.
