You see, as a panda, I totally understand smoking cigarette and getting addicted and then not being able to get rid off it are not men's faults.
Not to mention sex, which the drive is from inside our bodies.
But I don't understand if men are truely genetically designed to be polygamous (as urgent and fatal as all you guys described), why could women not be designed to accept polygamy.
It's such an agony for women. Men being selfish, women being stupid? or God's careless design, human beings need a recall????!!!!! |

this is actually a good and clever question.
I can't speak for women, but I would say that for most men at least, the urge to be polygamous is something that we work at supressing, and if most men could have their cake and eat it too, then there would be no suppression of it at all. If that means it's "natural", then so be it. |

Well there are still societies in the world that are polygamous, and they don't seem to have too many unhappy women. Also, in my own personal experience, if you are honest and upfront about what you want, and the girl is not too selfish or jealous, she can accept you being poly-dating-ous. I've done it before. Both of the women were nice, caring, and kind. Both of them ignored each other, and only focused on me. And both of them were happy. Honestly I could see that translating into a marriage, except for the ignoring part. Maybe if they replaced that with one of those super-close female friendships it would work out.
Panda, do you honestly not think that you couldn't share a man with your bestest female friend in the whole world who you stay up late at night whispering to and share all your secrets? Or do they not actually make those kinds of friends outside of movies. |

You did a good job, man, you should work as a politician, to get India and China staying peacefully and happily together, or are you already one?
To your question, I do honestly not know the answer, first of all, I am not sure I am straight enough to keep myself from competing with my boyfriend/husband for another woman. (I do feel attracted to women).
Second of all, I don't have any best friend with whom I share all my secrets, I usually share some with each of them 
Somehow, I have an older sister, and my brother in law is my best friend...he is closer than my sister to me, sometimes I would think, if my brother in law didn't marry my sister, I might have been his wife, but...still, that doesn't make me want to sleep with both of them. Nah.

One of my guy friends told me how he was unhappy because his super high libido makes him always think of sex, which prevents him from doing other things he should have been more intersted in.
I felt for him.
And I believe if I were a woman as a worker honeybee, I would have been working really really hard and enjoying my business trips to different gardens, leaving the mating and reproducing duty to the queen and her husbands. Life would be much easier. |

not sure I agree with your "guy friend". What other things should he have been more interested in? reading the Bible?
thinking about sex doesn't preclude you from doing anything else. If Men were precluded from doing other things by thinking about sex, they'd never do anything else. It'd be completely impossible to be near any women for instance, because the first thing a guy thinks about when seeing a girl is whether he'd like or not to copulate with her.
Men think about sex all the time, almost each and every time we see a woman we find at least somewhat attractive. Eg.. when I see a lovely female I'd love to copulate with in the gym, that doesn't stop me from my workout. in fact it enhances it.
of course, men, just as women I'm sure go thru period of high and low libido. Yes, it can be a little difficult when the libido is really cranked up.
I suspect at those times there's a whole lof of onanism going on.
Or.. if you're lucky... you can.. as Bob Costas said at the closing ceremony of the Olympics.

Obviously Tiger Woods was not bothered too much by his need when he played golf.
But that doesn't mean all men are comfortable with it... the reason of reading Bible is actually men want to distract themselves a little bit from their physical desires.
Its not coincidence all religions were created by men and most of them requires the believers stay continent...
If sex don't usually cause problems, it will be something positive like music that you can enjoy, share, purchase, etc.. all the time...
Unfortunately it is not. |

Its not true that men can't control their desires. They can, but when men cheat its not always about libido.
Also, women who get men to cheat on their wives/girlfriends begin to have a lower estimation of men. Similarly, men who get women to cheat on their husbands/boyfriends also have a lower estimation of women. Its best to just avoid that whole scene.
But on the other hand, what is it when a man/woman is backwards looking, and demands fidelity before the fact? Is jealous of the man/woman in the rear-view mirror, even though the car is speeding away? I don't know what to call it. Perhaps its best to just avoid the jealous and jealousy.
As for Tiger, and any other animals in the menagerie, I would say: 可怜之人心有可恨之处。 There's a reason the same fate recurs for the pitiful. |
