That's fine, I'll take Singapore Airlines AND my standard 2*23kg checked luggage allowance. |

| They generally have you start working the day or the day after you arrive, so rest up as much as you can before leaving. I found sleeping pills both on the plane and the first few days here to be a lifesaver because as I mentioned earlier, your school likely wont give you any chance to rest/get adjusted. Take vitamins and airborne to avoid getting a cold. |

| You will just sit down and say, "I'm not in Kansas anymore more." Eventually, one day, you will click your heels 3 times and say, "There's no place like home," and back in the seat with no leg room you go for 18 hours to return home. No one likes sitting in a cramped seat packed in with hundreds of people in cattle class, but it means going to the world rather than just sitting home watching, "Globe Trekker," wishing you could see big golden Buddhas. |

| Or, plan a multi-day layover in Hawaii. Two 6 hour flights over a couple days time is tolerable |

Yeah, you might want to skip that idea before a 14 + hour flight.
Bring books, use the in flight entertainment to watch movies, try to get some sleep, and you'll be fine. |

| If there's space, ask to move to a seat that has at least one empty space next to it. A little space makes all the difference. |

How do I get through the 14-hour flight to Korea?
I compare it to working a regular day at a job in Korea. Instead of working all that time, I get to watch movies and drink beer.
In fact I look forward to those long flights. I have no choice but to relax, snooze, read books, etc. |
