Reagan was senile through his second term and probably through 1/2 of the first. He was a B actor conservatives found and programed. Which is what they always do. They find some dope, dress him up as a cowboy and have them sell the lie. Also Reagan didn't end the cold war. He was a bit player. The pope and several European leaders risked more and contributed more than Reagan ever did.
