Man the hedge hogs at emart are awesome. I totally want to get one, but I'm not a big pet guy. Except for dogs, but I consider dogs to be pets as much as you consider a toddler to be a pet.

I saw hedgehogs at Homeplus yesterday. I was like "What the...?"..is that a porcupine? Wait. No, that's a hedgehog! What the..?"

Didn't know they could be pets.

We have wild hedgehogs on the farm back home. They are quite reclusive but sometimes they come out and snuffle around. I was always fascinated by them as a kid.

Do not get a rabbit! Rabbits are terrible. I didn't know how terrible, until I agreed to take a rabbit from a teacher leaving Korea (I've since managed to palm it off on someone else, thank god!)

Ugh, rabbits... chew everything and poop everywhere, and they are not fun or cuddly! OK, some rabbit lover's going to say "You should've rabbit proofed"... well, I did, but it wasn't 100% effective, and it was a lot more trouble than what it was worth.

I don't understand the appeal of any pet that isn't a cat or dog, anyway.
