What is it with Koreans elevators and subways. When the freakin door opens let the people inside get out! Why oh why do they push to get in as soon as the door opens?????

I have been in Japan, Thailand, and Taiwan and I have never seen the level of inconsiderate rudeness that Koreans possess in this area.

It has got to the point I just walk over whoever gets in my way.....if they wont let me out I make my own exit.

Sorry I had to vent but this does drive me absolutely stark ranking bonkers!

Trust me it all makes sense once you realize Koreans honestly believe that in this physical universe when two solid objects in motion meet in space/time, they pass through each other. Sure this theory is being put to the test a billion times a day in Korea and fails every time. But that doesn't shake them from this belief.

erghhhh..

this JUST happened for the billionth time...I ran out to get some water from the store and as usual, when the elevator got to the ground floor a lady had her nose AGAINST the door trying to push her way past me to get in...I turned and said, "No, let me tell you how this works! First I go out, then YOU go in!" She just kind of giggled. Stupid tw*t... Of course she had no clue what I was saying, but it made me feel better Rolling Eyes

Just get the elobos up-you're tall, and you will feel so gratified

I am not in korea but i have heard of people getting pushed etc in the street and I like most people on here think we should give it back. It is really the only way the will learn. I would love to see them push a 6'1 240 guy like myself lol, would be kinda funny to see the expression on there faces! Laughing

I spent a week in Singapore. What a difference from Korea! In Singapore, there is a sign in the subway something like this: A couple is going down the escalator arm in arm. The same picture is copied on the same ad, this time they are at the top of the escaltor. There is apolice officer waiting for them. Under the sign are the words: "Inconsiderate behaviour has consequences.". They need something similar in Korea. Peopel go on about how strict Singapore is, but I would love to live there. I think it must be one of the most civilised places on earth.

Perhaps utilising simple physics would be the best way to do something.

Drop the hottest, most rank fart. Something that's going to stain the seat. Then calmly move across to the door. The potential energy of the elevator/subway's inhabitants will far outweigh any hardnosed ajumma who's dying to get in first. After a few times of being hacked down by a flood of escaping passengers, these people will learn...

Very Happy

jae.

I was going to add something to this threaad, but now I'm laughing too hard.....
