The S9 certainly is awesome if you want to watch videos, but if you're just looking for something for music, then I can't recommend the Sansa Clip+ http://www.sandisk.com/products/sansa-music-and-video-players/sandisk-sansa-clipplus-mp3-player-.aspx enough. This is especially true if you'd like something to workout with (it's small, tough, and has a built in clip).
The thing is small, cheap, sounds great, you can use drag and drop (no clunky software), and has a microSD slot to upgrade the space (add up to 32GB when those cards hit shelves).
Currently, you can get an 8GB Clip+ and a 16GB microSD card together for under $100 on Amazon.
It has other nice features, which don't matter to me, but may to you:
plays lossless FLAC and OGG files, has an FM player, handles audiobooks well, built-in mic, etc.
The problem is finding one in Korea. I've seen the 4gb (which are more expensive here) on gmarket.
Best of luck. |

| I have the 3rd gen iPod touch 64GB which is nice on trans Pacific flights, but I mainly use my Sansa fuse which I bought from Newegg as a refurb unit. Works like a charm and has an FM tuner. If you want I can order one (they're cheap) since I have an APO box. PM me if interested. |

I have a sanza fuze but am looking to buy somthing new as its a bit battered.
I'm thinking about buying the s9 or the sflo:2.
Does anyone know whether the sflo: is available in Korea? I can't find it on gmarket. Many people reckon this has the best sound quality of all. |

| I bought a Samsung M1 a few months back, very happy with it so far. I went for 8GB version, but they give you a free 4GB memory card so that boosts it a bit. The screen is very clear, and music sounds good on it too. |

| I've been using a Cowon O2 for about 1-1/2 years now and I've been quite pleased with it. One of the best features is the Korean-English dictionary. Anyone care to compare the strengths and weaknesses between the S9 and O2? |
