Any of those sickly, dripping-in-grease Korean ballads that usually go something like, "Sa-raaaaaaaaang, Saaaaa-raaaang, Saa-raaaaaaaaaaang etc" and sound like they are sung by a guy who believes he is the only person in the entire world to experience REAL suffering. I feel like kicking these kind of guys in the nuts and telling them to man up. |

Gotta get thru this - Daniel Bedingfield.
Not because I have a particular dislike for the song, but it played on the radio a lot during a stressful time in my life, and this song, whenever I hear it literally (and I actually MEAN literally) makes my heart beat faster and causes me to immediately feel stressed out no matter how relaxed I am before I hear it. Actually it's probably not so bad now. The first time I heard it after I graduated from CEGEP it actually scared me how stressed I got just hearing a bit of it.
And what is with the awful spelling of "thru"? |

Agree Simply the Best by Tina Turner is a real contender.
If it helps any, when Tina heard the demo tape, she plaintively asked if she had to do it. She tried to worm her way out and eventually said right out "I don't like it." |

Anything by nickelback.
Anything by Green Day. The sound of anything by them makes we want to crawl out of my own skin.
All Summer Long by Kid Rock. Way to ruin a great Lynyrd Skynrd song for me.
That horrible, cheesy, cliched song by Miley Cyrus - "The Climb." Not only do I hate that song on its own merits, but she is a 17 year old girl with her own television show and a singing career, singing about being "lost with no direction." I think we need to have a conversation. |

This made me laugh. You have a really bassy growl in it. Somehow it fits the song. Next you can try "Girls just wanna have fun."
The songs that make me ill are those never-ending anthemic songs from the 70s and 80s that I've had to hear over, and over, and over again in my life. They now do make my stomach a little sick when I hear the opening notes:
Don McLean - American Pie
Eric Clapton - Layla
Pink Floyd - Another Brick in the Wall
Meatloaf - Any song!
Kenny Loggins - Footloose (just seems like it's eight minutes long) |

Sorry, I got mixed up with "What's love got to do with it?" It is actually worse than Simply the Best which is saying something. |
