Visa on arrival is available pretty much everywhere except China, Vietnam, and Myanmar.[quote]

Actually Myanmar has visa on arrival now, started 1 May, 30 usd for 28 days. A cheap, 30 usd flight, from Bangkok and incredible.

Thanks for the suggestions.

I'm leaning towards Thailand.

So, if I want to go to Thailand, what is my best option from Ulsan? Any flights from Ulsan Airport or do I need to go to Incheon?

And if I need to go to Incheon, is the flight expensive from Ulsan?

There are international flights out of Busan, so it would probably makes sense to take the bus there. You can find flights out of Busan on Expedia, or if you can read Korean, on 072.com.

Thailand is spent. So close to the locals biting the hand that feeds them.
You've been warned. good luck .

Myanmar? Where the beep is that? Never heard of it.

... Perhaps there IS somewhere called Burma down around where you're talking about though. I'm sure Burma is very nice this time of year.. in between the bullets and the concentration camps.

tokyo or bangkok?

that depends on your wallet.

tokyo you will need lots of $$$. where bangkok is pretty cheap.
i dont know about the flights right now, but i could imagine that flight prices are about the same prices at this moment.

flights to japan are, if you depart from gimpo, always around 350.000 ~ 400.000.
bangkok could be a bit more. but then again, youd be there and spend next to nothing.
in japan your savings would be gone, for sure. its very, very expensive there.
google the prices and then decide. both places are awesome. i personally love tokyo. been there 4 times and will go back again.
