I had this butt ugly 40 year old not married co-teacher who just sat at my house the first night after we put all my new stuff in the place. She was acting like we were going to jump in bed together so I said well you need to go now and she left. She kept inviting herself over and I made excuses and she would hit on me all the time. Eventually she got the idea nothing was going to happen and went from stalker to hater. The kind of hater that sabotages all your classes and stops helping with any tasks outside of work.

I still get the hebee jeebees when I think of her angry ugly face. Nothing worse than an unmarried korean witch the projects her feelings onto you.

just say no.

If you're young, an older woman will be cool with you dabbling with young eye candy. They know the deal, if she isn't a wacko.

Then she must be really, really ugly.

Guess you'll just have to keep the balled up tissues of the floor just in case there's a gathering. And keep the man smell at bay.

I had a similar situation last year. The POE inspector at my demo lesson said that Korean teachers should come to my place to practice their Englisheee. WTF!

No way. I nipped that nonsense in the bud by writing to all the teachers explaining that privacy is a very important Western value, and that we keep our working and private lives completely separate. They didn't seem to mind, as I offered to talk to them anytime at work, but only during school hours (8.30 - 4.30p).

Just say "NO!"

Good luck.

My co-workers invited themselves over. We all sat on the floor in my kitchen and made galbi, drank soju then went to a noraebang. Never again, 7 people don't fit so well in my box.

Koreans sometimes seem to think anything goes when you're dealing with a foreigner.
A sort of mental backflip occurs whereby social norms of behaviour no longer apply.
Underneath it though, is the vague, subconscious belief that they own you.

You've been here three weeks. Just go with it.

I don't know if anyone asked this, but is she hot?

If so tell her and the others about your no pants policy. You don't make the rules, you just follow them.
