Amazingly now I have an option for I-pin. Are you fluent in Korean, Nick? Or maybe a Korean helped you fill out the form, because I'm not seeing any English version of this I-pin form. I tried entering my name and SS number on the other form but it doesn't take.
This has got to be the most convoluted bureaucracy in the history of man just to play a game. Can't I just give blizzard $40 to avoid this headache and play? |
I wouldn't say I'm fluent, but I'm pretty good. Certainly enough to fill out some forms on a website. In order to use the i-pin first you have to register at http://www.vno.co.kr Once you've registered there you can use your i-pin ID/password to verify your identity at any website that uses i-pin. Excuse me for asking a stupid question here.... If you can't read Korean how are you going to play the game in Korean?
When you tried entering your name and ID number on the other form, what error did you get? How did you enter your name? On most sites you must use your full name as it appears on your ID card, with all capital letters, and no spaces between the names.
For example, if your name is John David Smith, you must enter SMITHJOHNDAVID |
Awesome. Thank you Nick, the name format worked and now I can play.
As for understanding the mission objectives, I'll cross that hurdle when I get to it. I usually just skip the dialogues when they're in English anyway.
Thanks for your help! |

I learned both terran and protoss during the beta on a krean client knowing no korean. Was a bit of trial and error, but building every unit and seeing what they do is possible vs an easy computer. |

| Yep I figured it out no problem. Just finished the game 2 days ago with Terran on difficult. If you've played sc1, the second is just more of the same |
