The leadership of the so-called Islamic world has its own agenda. That is the imposition of sharia law on as much of the world as possible

Of the Moslem countries, which have Sharia now and which are secular? List please.

What will the Imam teach about homosexuality and the rights of women?

Why don't you ask all those fundamentalist christan churches the same questions?

Will women be allowed to lead prayer groups in the Mosque?

It is a cultural center, not a mosque.

Europe is now well on its way to Islamicization. Large part of many large European cities are ruled by de facto sharia. Obama is the first anti-American president. He will side with just about any group that hates America. America's only hope is that he is gone in 2012.

 What large European cities are ruled by de facto sharia? And how are they being ruled that way?

How is Obama anti-American?

I don't even know why I'm asking these questions since I'm sure you'll answer with some drivel but eh, I'm a curious person.

I know what you mean. When people just spew back what they heard on TV, it kind of makes it pointless. You have to wait till the TV host addresses the question.

Seeing as how Rushdie is a aelf-professed atheist, no, he probably won't be invited to speak at a mosque. And I doubt he'd find a very warm reception from Pentecostals or Orthodox Jews either.

one great thing about Obama is he's not afraid to call a spade a spade!

but back in England we'd call him a "Bounty Bar"

maybe some other Brits can tell you why....

Yes, when our untarnished record of all the love we've been showing Muslims by bombing the hell out of their countries is barely responsible for recruiting a single terrorist.

Of course that's true, which is why what he said was important. Anything that adds to the idea that we are against Muslims is dangerous and he did the right thing by making his comment. What are you Rolling Eyes about exactly?
