What's sick is that this was both vicious and probably random. These people that do this kind of stuff are a real problem. The woman that threw the acid has probably done lots of stuff to different victims but never anything serious enough for the police to be able to do anything about it. My understanding is that the UK police try to keep track of people that are known sociopaths that like to victimize people. One of the ways they do it is through things like lists, but they do it rather secretly. A lot of rights groups don't seem to like it. |

| I wonder if having the scorn of the nation for a few weeks and everyone in her hometown for much longer coupled with having thrown acid in her own face is punishment enough. Maybe one more cup just to make sure? |
