I was also 26 whe I arrived in 2003.
I felt Koreans were super Anti-American when I arrived. That has really died down except for the US Beef thing. |

Wow. We should start a 26/2003 club. I bet it would be really cool. We would be a special and unique group spiritually head and shoulders above our peers, kind of like The Breakfast Club.
In 2003 Koreans would come up to me and grimly ask AMERICAN?! I'd asnwer no, UK and their faces would relax and they'd say 'Oh good, English Gentleman.'
I think they mostly like Americans again or at least don't like them any less than any other foriegn group. |
