Isn't using ephedrine (and it's cousin sudafed) for exercising generally accepted to have directly caused a bunch of deaths? I know it's supposed to be stellar for weight-loss and such, but is it really worth it?
Any facts would be greatly appreciated. |

From what I understand, the deaths related to ephedrine were caused by huge doses. The media, as it is wont to do, blew the cases out of proportion, not bothering to mention that the people who died were taking several times the recommended dose several times a day.
It's not perfectly safe, but what drug is? Tylenol kills a lot of people who take more than they should too. Point is that if you don't have a heart condition, and you stay within the recommended dose, the risk is minimal. |

Can't tell you how to get it in Korea but I can tell you that ephedrine rocks.
My first experience with it was in college. I had pulled an all-nighter studying then had an APFT (Army Physical Fitness Test) that morning for ROTC. I was in no-shape to do it but didn't really have a choice as it was a mandatory event.
My gf gave me a little vile that contained 25mg of liquid ephedrine. Tasted like shit. Then...wow
Ran my best 2 mile time ever and added about 10 pushups from my last test. Absolutely the most incredible physical high ever.
If you can get it, do so |

It's going to end up in a dilapidated tenement building, with a silver spoon and syringe on the floor and a baby in the microwave, by the looks of things. |

can u get this stuff HCL shipped to Korea without customs problems?
I know where you can order. The customs in Korea page had an incorrect number that leads to a hospital so i cant call and ask.
I have a whole book outlining how much more dangerous Advil and Tylenol is over an ECA stack. I never really experienced problems from ECA, for sure caffeine is an issue tho but not Ephedrine. |

I don't know if it works the same, but I think you can find ma huang in one of the Chinatown type areas or possibly a Chinese medicine clinic. :/
Be careful. Good luck. |

Two Questions:
Back in America I would get ephedrine in the form of Bronkaid pills at a CVS/RiteAid. Where can I buy ephedrine over here?
Second, is there any place that sells liquid egg whites?
Thank you! |
Chinese market in Jaeggidong has mua huang stems.
Not ephedrine, but ephedra. You have to make a tea out of it, and it tastes bad. But you're probably used to things tasting bad if you diet and work out. Both my gf and I make the tea and have found that our appetite is indeed suppressed (just anecdotally).
An enormous bag of it that will last you forever is 5000 won. |

Probably saved about a hundred thousand lives from heart attack and diabetes due to obesity, maybe caused less than 10 heart attacks in the literature, generally all in people who took way too much and had pre-existing heart conditions and other confounding factors. I remember looking at some of the case studies published in a medical journal and thinking, "Okay, if I don't want to die I better not take 10x the recommended dose, be obese, and then go out and bale hay in 100 degree weather."
The recent reason for a lot of clamping down on ephedrine in the United States (but not other countries, I can still walk across the road and buy it here in Canada) was because a MLB baseball player who was being overworked in 100-110 degree weather, died from heatstroke during summer training while on ephedrine. In this situation, you would say ephedrine was a factor that contributed to his dehydration death, along with the stronger factors such as how much water he had been allowed to drink, the fact that he had not ate a single thing in two days according to his trainers, his mild hypertension, and that he had just flown to Florida and had not acclimated to the weather. In fact, those conditions alone without the ephedra often cause deaths due to heat stroke. But you can imagine that the MLB officials would compile a report blaming a supplement rather than the irresponsible training regimen that they had him on. Why would they blame themselves?
Ephedra itself has been used in Chinese medicine for about a couple thousand years. Just like anything, natural or unnatural, it can have side effects. And as always the dose makes the poison. Regular doses don't cause normal people to have problems. |

| Does anyone know where to buy yohimbine hcl in Korea? iHerb won't ship anything containing it to Korea because it's supposed to be illegal, but I thought the same thing about ephedrine, so hopefully I'm wrong about yohimbine's legality too. |
