I haven't a clue what YOU should do as I don't know you. What are you good at? What are you interested in? Anyway the choice is yours.
I like Lit. and Creative writing sounds interesting too. The others sound dull. |

Well, if I added up all the college classes I took doing things I "like" I would have that M.A. already. Unfortunately, there wasn't a photography-journalism-computers-writing major at my college. I did spend four years working as a newspaper reporter/writer/photographer before becoming a teacher. As a newspaper reporter, I made less than half what I currently make as a teacher.

I agree. Recently the pragmatic part of my brain has been making the big decisions. Also, I am a very patient person who can stomach doing dull things.
I have strong writing skills, but doing it activates otherwise dormant obsessive compulsive areas of my brain; I love photography, but that seems irrelevant here; I love stories and books, but hate stodgy old literature types; I don't know much about computers, but I don't mind putting in the time to learn; I like teaching, most of the time; I like teaching teenagers, most of the time.
I'm leaning toward an M.A. in Education because it seems relevant to my teaching career, and can be completed without quitting my job. I'm starting to get real comfortable dividing my career in teaching from the rest of my life.
