My girlfriend and I are down as well. We'll roll toons there and level with y'all. If it looks like the guild is sticking together and having fun we might even transfer our 80's and some of their gold over to help out. |

| I would recommend against starting on a "new" realm. They almost always turn into low population realms and that means less fun/convenience all around. |

Why is Khaz'goroth listed as new?
I played on that server for 3 years. Then they allowed PvE -> PvP transfers and basically every high end guild bailed and the place turned into a ghost town. It's an old server, one of the original Oceanics from launch. Unless they closed it and re-opened it in the past year. |

well i'm open to a different suggestion, but someone needs to decide on a better server soon....
Seriously, I'm impartial.
Any West Coast US server on Oceanic time would be fine. The only other alternative to Kaz'goroth is a high-population realm. |

Been playing on frostmourne and got my deathknight up to 68, the server seems good with me only getting placed one time into que and that was for 2 mins.
But that is my opinion |

Queues are much different at 80 |

Bathilas is pretty even sides, but is high pop or are we going with Khaz'goroth.
the only medium pop is Gundrak, however that is PVP.
PVE is my choice |

I'm looking at the realm list now the night of Cataclysm launch.
Out of 12 Oceanic servers only 3 aren't "locked".
Khaz'goroth is locked. I guess it wasn't a new server after all.
So is Barthilas.
There's only one non-pvp realm that isn't "locked" and that's caelestrasz, and it's at high population...
Considering this is peak time, I'd say that's the best we're going to get unless blizz opens up some more servers.. |

I wanna join up for some WoW action. I like PVE, but I like PVP far more. I'd hate to be on a PVE server though.
As stated previously, most of the Oceanic servers are actually in America. I've got 3 or 4 80's on 알레리아. I forgot my acct name and password tho and probably have to go and get it back, talking with tech support is fun!
I know someone posted on how to use an English client to play on the korean servers (so you get quests and etc in english) but I'm not sure if that still works with Cata. What pings are you getting connecting to oceanic? |
