Hmm, I surprised at the free training unless you're teaching in a BC center. How things have changed for the BC to be offering something for free Wink

As for BULATS 'examiner' status, I was a BULATS 'examiner' for 2 years as part of my last job, and all it meant was sitting in the background checking that no one was looking up words in a dictionary and stopping the test for toilet breaks. I didn't get paid an extra cent for my time, and couldn't really see where the money was to be made with this exam. It's got a limited market, and it surprises me that it's taking off in Korea.

Anyway, seems like Edwardcatflap knows well, and all the best in your quest for whatever accreditation you can get, Naturegirl!

There's a speaking and a writing part to the test which both require examiners, paid around the same rate as for IELTS. The invigiliating should pay admin time so I'm surprised you didn't get anything from it at all. SK Telecom, among other companies, use BULATS now to grade their current and potential employees' English level.
