I call it Craze although my girlfriend insists its not that or Crazy either, but Krahjay even though I explained to her it's not an english word. She thinks it sounds too dissimilar to either of the words, and that Koreans would write each of them differently to the spelling used by the store.

Personally, I think the reason why it should be craze and not crazy is because using k to replace c is quite common in stylised or trendy english spelling but no one ever substitutes e for y at the end of words. Note that I would be willing to accept people calling it Crazy if it was spelled Krazi.

Actually now I remember after I told her krahjay wasn't a word, she was sure it must be the way people say crazy in another language, like french or spanish, until I pointed out that crazy wasn't a latin root word.

I always imagined it with some type of accent on the end. Either way, it really does look messed up.

Thanks Chomsky.

Furthermore,
"Outback" has 4 syllables.

Considering Kraze is not even an English word, I can excuse the bad pronunciation of it.

It looks similar enough to crazy. The only thing crazy I saw was the prices.

If this wasn't Korea, I might think it's "Craze" burger, but it's Korea... I don't think "craze" is phonetically possible here!

I think that they can dispose of all current IQ tests as canoe_jesuit has just found the ultimate way to measure intelligence.

The price they charge for those burgers is ridic.

It'll never fly outside of Korea unless they slash the price in half... at least, plus provide fries with the burger.

Koreans pronounce it "Kra" (as in crap) "zey" (as in hey).
