I'm a classic beta.
I think the issue with these tests is that it assumes all people (male or female) want to be alphas.
If I were single, I would still want to date beta males. An alpha male would have no opinion regarding Takashi Miike films. :/ |
What, that he makes horrible movies that are over sensationalized? |

I think he's got stock brokers and engineers around the wrong way. Possibly stockbrokers (its hardly a proud/honorable profession in this economic climate) should be in the bottom rung. Engineers are only matched by Dr's as to average earnings for Uni grads
Also, I spent 4 hilarious years hanging out with mainly my female classmates at Uni bars. The so called Alpha males pick-up lines were routinely shot down by my friends. It actually was an embarassement at times the crap that came out of the law /medical/engineering students, from a male perspective.
I also found his senarios laughable maybe more situations you would find yourself in at highschool, not as an adult. How old is he by the way? He just seems like the steriotypical frat boy who hasn't really grown up |

| Six. Yes, I'm the kind of man who says "excuse me" before leaving a conversation. |

I may have to date a robot, but at least I don't have to kill myself.
I take pride in that fact. |

| Would "ESL Teacher" be categorized with the Neutral Status jobs or Low Status jobs? From a North American perspective. |

That's a goddamn lie. Test is crap. Unless a "quality" guy is someone who would get full points on the real situations part of the male test in which case yes those jerks hit on me all the damn time. |

| You know, I've always wondered if the fact that all of this 'pick-up' stuff is widely known kind of makes girls think 'wow, this lowlife must think I'm really stupid' whenever they see it happening in real life. |

| It's completely ageist where women are concerned and probably doesn't account for the fact that hot guys 40 and up may actually want a woman with some life experience and the ability to hold up her end of a conversation without too many hair flips and when you consider the market of ESL teachers in Korea, there are probably more guys 40 and up who prefer western women than there are western women of this age, so a lady who keeps herself up a bit can do alright. |

yeah but don't you like the feeling of dating someone new and you're really into something (let's use takashi as an example) and the other person has no clue, so you introduce it to them and they become a big fan too?
i love that. i love getting my gf or even friends into something i'm obsessed with. |

Oh, so that's what I've been doing incorrectly. I'd always thought that would be a bit of a faux pas. Obviously not. |

Yeah, actually that is pretty awesome.
I guess what I mean is, and I know I shouldn't judge, I assume alpha people (people "cooler" than me) wouldn't want to share my interests. I do have a bit of growing up to do regarding not pre-judging people. I apologize for my previous comic-book guy-esque snobbery. |
