| Hmm really? I've only been to the original one once, and the Myeongdong one once, but in my opinion they were night and day. Price, value, selection, quality, the original Taipei location was far far better in every category. But maybe I went to DTF Myeongdong on a bad day. |
The Taipei location wins out by a long shot in terms of selection, but considering that I generally just go with the staples of pork xiao long bao, braised beef noodle soup, and the fried pork-chop, I'm generally happy. I do wish they had some of the vegetable dishes that they have on the Taiwan menu, as that seems to be the part of the menu that is most Koreanized.
In terms of quality on the staple items I don't think there's a lot of variation between the locations here and the original in Taipei, but I can't speak for most of the menu as I don't feel the need to try new things there. |
