I had a similar question. I sent in my contract and everything is set, just waiting for my visa confirmation number.

Also, I didn't send sealed recommendation letters. I sent two, but they were most definitely not sealed.

The recruiter basically told me their previous contract had canceled and they were waiting for basically the first person with documents. I had to write a cover letter in like 7 minutes to get to fed ex on time to send my documents.
