I meant my recommendation more in regards to the quality of the areas/living there. The line 3 stations all feel very central and developed. Parts of the Gyeongui line feel like the outskirts.
Now that I look at it (new subway map), you are right about that.
I didn't realize that about the airport express, though. That does speed things up, especially for the Gyeongui line. 40 minutes from Ilsan station (Gyeongui) to Hongdae is great; 47 minutes from Jeongbalsan (with 2 transfers) is good, too! Thanks for the heads up. |
