your thread's been hijacked. look, these places they're talking about are far north of uijeongbu, the length of time between train stops start getting longer north of there.

It isn't that far north, the intervals between subway stations are longer yes but your still traveling about 30 km an hr so it doesn't make THAT much of a difference. Only thing you'll notice is it'll take 3 minutes to get to the next station instead of 2. I live in Dongducehon and commute to seoul every morning. Dongducheon to Ujeongbu is only a 15-20 minute ride depending on how long you've gotta wait for the train. Every 3rd train goes towards the end. To get to Nowon, Seoul from Dongducheon is about an hr.

You can also take buses from Dobongsan and Nowon that'll take you to Ujeongbu or towards Donguducheon if you get caught after subway closes. Buses run till about 2 or 3 in the morning.

Really? Is it the shelter of the Jindo or shelter of the Maltese?

What is the name?

It's okay, I can see how a non native english speaker would make this mistake. But animal shelter means a place where unwanted dogs go and are either taken care of until someone else adopts them. Or are put to sleep if no one adopts them. This is one that puts them to sleep.

Put to sleep means to euthanize or kill.

Make some notes in your new word journal.

yes but only during rush hour. Ujeongbu has an express stop. It skips every 2nd or 3rd station. They go in both directions. Dongducheon and the one headed to seoul stops in Seongbuk
