I would suggest downloading VLC player. Just type vlc in google. It has played every single file I have thrown at it, and never any problems with sound.

I just called Netflix, and the nice lady told me this service isn't available internationally (obviously, not the mailing of the dvd's, but what I was asking about is the downloading of movies.)

She also suggested looking into itunes, but when I tried, all I could find was music.

Oh...ok, I see...I didn't know what a vpn is, just looked it up. Sigh. Why can't this be easy. I would pay for easy.

This is easy. Smile

A VPN just tells a site that your location is somewhere else. Hotspot Shield is a free VPN that usually works from Korea. You can try that. I use it with Netflix and Hulu all the time.

Netflix wont ship movies here (maybe if you live on base) but you can watch their streaming services with a VPN.

Close, but not quite, a VPN is actually a tunnel that exists between you and a remote location. In this case, the kind of VPNs people are talking about also give you an internet connection on the far side and send your traffic through there. It makes you appear to be in that location because all your traffic is going through there before going out to all the other stuff outside the VPN. As far as the remote sites are concerned your traffic is originating from that point. However, some sites are getting smart and blacklisting certain popular VPNs.
