You'd be very, very surprised at the number of celebrities who dress down and frequent Itaewon establishments, simply because a large portion of the patrons there don't recognize them and if they do, usually aren't too impressed or have the courtesy to not hound them for autographs and pictures.

I've met a lot, and most of them are pretty unremarkable when not primped and pressed, at least at a casual glance.

Me and the significant other ran into some famous singer I didn't/don't recognize in Chili Chili's of all places.

Celebrities aren't some magical group of people that shoot rainbows out of their a$$es and leave sprinkles everywhere. It's not unreasonable to believe that they might go to Itaewon b/c people wouldn't be as likely to recognize them.

Myeong Dong, on the other hand, where I saw Jessica from SNSD almost get mobbed by almost a thousand people before she had to get driven away in a black van with tinted windows, would make less sense.

This just in: celebrities are carbon based humanoids just like the average waegook.

But yeah, you probably met someone who looked like her, as another poster said, they're overseas right now.

That said, I would eat her butt rainbow as well.

i heard from a respectable bird that some korean celebrities like to party in itaewon because they dont get bothered much or at all there. mostly because foreigners wouldn't know a celebrity if they saw one.

I wouldn't know a Korean 'celebrity' even if they came up to me and shook my hand. There have been a few times in Itaewon that I've been near a minor TV personality or actor, and my wife has told me who they are. Same thing happened in Boracay, when I was sat directly next to a Korean TV soap actress.
These celebs probably do hang in Itaewon, because most foreigner have no idea who they are.

I guess they think going to Itaewon is the only place in Korea than can go without being mobbed..
still Wondergirls? they are washed up.. and will be forgotten in 2 years....
you can only see NOBODY so many times before you put a bullet to your own head..

company wont allow it hahahahahahahha.. dude next time just take a picture of her at the table.. it's not illegal to do that...

Or maybe, she took the subway train from Suwon to Itaewon after the baseball game... It only takes 75 minutes.
