New Macbook Pro's supports only window7, dont try XP or Vista no driver's for them on new macbook pro.

Thanks all for your suggestions and help. My new macbook pro has bootcamp installed with windows 7 and it's up and running smoothly! Woohoo! Now I just have to sell my previous laptop.

Unless you want to play games in windows I would really go with the virtual machine route. People recommend parallels or vmware but I use free program virtualbox which has less bells and whistles but runs much more stable for me. With that installed install windows and launch windows without having to reboot.
