In a lot of cases it's like throwing money out the window.

my bill includes everything and is usually 130,000 a month. winter up to 150,000.

60,000~ of that is in building fees (security, parking, elevator, maintenance, etc).

pretty standard in officetels/apartments.

200,000 for my place. Given all the services my building provides, it's a fairly good deal.

50k in a small, new villa-type building in central Seoul. This includes cable and internet, but I pay separately for gas and electric.

Please stop posting your total bills, it is confusing to everyone and doesn't give the OP any real sample size.

Your maintenance is only what you are charged to live in the building, this does not include your electricity, gas or water. (in some buildings water and or electricity may be included, and if they are, please note that)

Maintenance involves the fees you pay for use of the elevator/ security/ building cleaning/ trash pickup / CCTV / electrical and water use in the building / etc.

In the last three places I have lived:

Now: Officetel near nowon station - 78,000, includes water, crappy building service

08-10 - Officetel in Dobong-gu - 55,000, good building service

07 - Officetel in Mokdong - 40,000, crappy building service
