Liberal vs Conservative: A Difference in Brain Structure

Unlike the notion of a 'spiritual battle' this actually exists in the real world.

It appears conservatives have an enlarged amygdala which makes them more sensitive to fear- this might explain some of the paranoid rantings of the far right on this board. They are also more sensitive to disgust. Liberals, on the other hand, have a larger anterior cingulate cortex, making them more tolerant of uncertainty and complexity.

i come in peace with a word of hope as well. my hope is that you believe in the flying spaghetti monster and that it rains cupcakes from the sky.

the intent doesn't make the message any more legitimate does it?
