This really seems like the rich trying to control how much English education young children are getting in this country --- all under the guise of "equality" for all, likely citing issues like cost and inequality for the poor who can't afford such schools. The latter is really a joke, because everyone pretty much sends their kids to these schools, anyway.

I'm sure they don't like parents who can't afford to send their children overseas for study getting anything close to what they can get for the money they've spent. Of course, it's hardly immersion, but still, the kids can wipe out an accent by starting this early.

Ahhhhh......

Land of the Morning Calm.......finally.

Let those babies get some sleep, besides, they're going to wind up working (studying) 16 hours a day by the time they're 10.

And it's more of blessing in disguise for teachers (Koreans and Foreigners), becuase let's face it, who needs to start thier day off in a room full of crying toddlers. Until Korea embraces the use of modern psychology, and the benefits of pharmacology, this is just a one way ticket to the funny farm.

Sometimes, the K-gov gets it right.

We'll see when it comes to actual enforcement of this regulation.
