You should be worried. It's a big move and a gamble to move overseas for a job.

I am about to leave in 1 week to go to Busan to teach in the public school system. I too spent months and months looking into it even as I was going thru the interview process. I was so excited and fearless. But much like you I am feeling anxious and some jitters. I am 38 so its not like I just got out of college or live at home with little to lose. Like a previous post I too left a job and many comforts behind in my decision to go. What keeps me focused is the challenge of the unknown and starting from scratch again where things will be foreign to me.
I really related to you as I am notorious for "analysis paralysis". Don't do it to escape anything or for lack of other options, be sure to haave a solid reason and focus on that. Maybe I'll see you over there...

I spent the last couple of months at home partying constantly and shifting between cities where I had friends. Lots of going-away parties. I don't remember many nerves, though.

With a name like Peter Pan, you know the OP is too sensitive for Korea.

Plus, without a CRC and apostilled Diploma, it will be months before they can come. "I'm thinking about accepting a position" my ass.

Yeah man up OP! Very Happy

And DaHu is correct if your from the United States. But its easier for people form other countries. I got my degree on May 25'th, the next week I applied for my criminal background check. And I arrived in Korea on July 3'rd. I'm Canadian btw.

So even if you are on the fence, start gathering your documents now! Today!

And don't wuss out, nothing ventured nothing gained.
