She didn't actually have her tongue 'lengthened' she was born with some sort of deficiency and had it corrected with a small incision that was done under local anesthetic and took 30 minutes.
Not that big of a deal. It is strange, though, that she is crazy about Korea. I always find it funny when people "hope" to study in Korea, and they do all this language study and everything. It must be funny when they get hired for a job and their boss doesn't give a damn about if they speak Korean and all of their co-workers just get drunk every night and trash-talk Korea. |

| Funny. Korean parents getting their kids tongue surgery for better English pronunciation was all the rage several years back. If you're crazy about Korea I guess you should do as Koreans do. |

I take it most of you just really don't know what this paper is do you?
Quite likely what this person did was get tongue surgery for the problem she had, after she did it she may have found it easier to pronounce some vowels, and the daily mail turned that into a headline as to why she wanted to actually get the surgery.
This paper is only barely a step up from the weekly world news. |
