| I'm in the same boat, I got an offer from a school in Jeju, seems like a good opportunity at a good school, but it's so small compared to Seoul. I haven't gotten any job offers from Seoul and I've been trying with MANY recruiters for over a month. It seems like there is surfing, scuba, hiking and outdoors stuff, but what about the nightlife? I also don't like the idea of everyone knowing everyone, that's why I went to a big university. Do y'all think first timers can handle the Jeju lifestyle? I'm not a huge partier, but I do want the option. Are weekend trips to mainland cities commonplace? Are there really foreigner sports leagues like soccer and ultimate frisbee? Also, with surfing, do you rent the board there, I imagine you can't take longboards on the buses... |
