songdo is a pretty decent place to live. the festival really blows/blew.
if you really want to see something that screams... well, lots of bad stuff... take a stroll through songdo central park (a lovely, multi-million dollar park) and check out the decrepit 'jesus land' that jesus himself quashed/squashed with a typhoon over a year ago and has sat (drooped and rotted) untouched for well over a year. it's pretty offensive (not in a religious way... i, personally, appreciate the general commentary of the situation ).

Didn't the exact same thing happen last year? Was it the same place or am I thinking of another festival? Same story either way - major advertisement as a foreign food/beer extravaganza and people got there to discover that the vendors were selling Hite and had no food. It seems like the event planning companies in Korea need to step up their game.
