Does anyone know how many foreigners live in South korea and Seoul right now? Will Seoul soon surpass Tokyo in the number of foreigners and western people?

Thanks!

I think Wikipedia has like 280,000 foreigners in Seoul and 854,000 in South Korea. I think the number must be around 380,000 now for Tokyo.

Keep in mind these stats include ethnic Koreans and Japanese with foreign passports.

There are many groups and clubs where you can easily meet people with common interests. www.toastmasters.org has over 30 clubs in Korea, and most go to a bar after the meeting.

The poster who said wait at a subway station is hilarious. If you do that, be sure to put out a hat in front you so you can make spare change in the process.
