Look at this country since it has distanced itself from its Christian foundation.

You didn't watch the vid, did you? The US (assuming it had one) has clearly not lost its Christian foundation.

There is but one reality - that of the self.

Nothing could be more apposite to gratifying the needs, instincts, tastes, passions and pursuits of Humanity (and all living things) than the philosophy of egoism, individualism and laissez-faire. One might even call it a holy trinity!

Rubbish. Nothing could be more rightful than individual men and women pursuing their instincts and passions to the full.

Let he who is devoid of self interest (he who holds the needs of others to be more pertinent than his own) work pro bono. Let he who believes the individual must not do as he pleases be the first to do not as he pleases.

Great. Hitler, Stalin ad Mao Tse Tung followed their instincts and passions to the full. The result....millions upon millions slaughtered.
But hey...don't wanna step on their "individualism".

Sorry, I don't understand.

Perhaps I am being rather dense today, but what exactly is your point?

Huh? You think those men could have remained in power without the machinery of the state being present? You think having a strong central government is a "solution" to tyranny? Um, are you being sarcastic?
