As the weeks approach Christmas, maybe people could post links to this appropriately titled thread when they hear about Christmas events in various Restaurants, Hotels, Bars, Clubs.

Korean Christmas cards are very cheap and they look nice. They will start to become available in late November.

I'm sure your sweet, silver haired mothers would understand your choice to get drunk with prostitutes, rather than spending precious, ever dwindling moments with them in their twilight years. Laughing

Exactly. Laughing

Plus when I was a kid Christmas was my favourite time of the year, then when I hit my teens and realised how much debt my mother got into in order to pay for presents/Christmas stuff, I told her not to worry about it any more.

Hence I've never really celebrated Christmas since.

I do however definitely miss the default time off work. Gotta love having 3 weeks or more off work/school, with none of this Winter Camp malarkey.

I don't really consider myself religious but I have always like the general attitude people have at Christmas. Being nicer to people, friends and family being closer ect. It'd be nice if we were like that all year round but it seems people just try harder for Christmas
