This guy is having trouble with Netflix in HD on his AMD Zecate platform:

The Zecate is pretty weak. Only a 1.6ghz dual-core....

The Llano A8-3850 is a quad-core design running at 2.9ghz......big big difference.

I'd highly doubt the A8-3850 would have any trouble with Netflix.....especially if you whack in 4GB of good 1600mhz RAM.

BIG EDIT!

I've just been reading a couple of reviews which compare the A8-3850 with the Intel i3-2100 partnered with a Z68 motherboard and the Intel solution wins out. The Sandy Bridge architecture is just unbeatable.

Plus, the Z68 mobo will have more options long-term for upgrading than the FM-1 mobo which the Llano chips require.

Once again AMD show that they can make good products, but not as good as Intels.

The Bulldozer reviews of the last few days just reinforce that. It's going to be a long slow struggle for AMD to compete with Intel in any price bracket now.

Actually you dont even need the i3 chip. The new Intel G620 is really awesome for the price. I am shocked by the stats compared to other chips. It seems to blow away the entire Core2Duo Series. Costs just over 80,000 won!

Here you go.

You need to add your own OS to it, and you might want to up the graphics card from the new Intel 2000 graphics, depending what you want to do with it, but it should be good enough for most/all video purposes even with Blu-ray as is:

I personally wouldn't be happy with the Intel 2000 graphics capabilities........but the OP could check out if it's enough for their needs.
