My supervisor is an ultranationalist and was complaining about this rape to me.
The thing is, nobody cares about the Filipinas and women of other nationalities who are trafficked here under false pretenses and are forced to have sex with Americans, Koreans, and any man of any nationality who wants to pay the going rate. Only when a Korean woman is raped by an American GI does anyone care. |

Substitute Korea with the US and Korean with white, and you get pretty much the same result.
Which is sad, but there you go. |
