I like kimchi, but it really doesn't seem like something that would pair well with fries. Doesn't it drown out whatever crispiness they might possess? |
Not anymore than chili-cheese fries or poutine that's served in thousands of restaurants around the world. IIRC, it's got carnitas/pork, cheese, jalapeno peppers, and maybe sour cream? The kimchi adds a bit of different flavor, but doesn't really overpower the dish. |
